Ahmed is a software systems engineer obsessed with building, designing and implementing low-level building blocks of the software industry, particularly where database internals meet the kernel, and where both intersect with security. He is a Computer Engineering student at Cairo University, expected to graduate in July 2026.

His commitment to open source is reflected in his selection as a GSoC ’25 contributor at Rizin and as an LFX Mentorship ’26 mentee for Drasi (by Microsoft Azure). Along his work, He is currently especially passionate about eBPF, a technology he considers fantastic to modern systems programming.
